Exhibition and workshop with works by Queral Viladevall

Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

in the Park of Can Mercader of Cornellà de Llobregat

Within the activities of the Science Week organized by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation we offer you:

    • An exhibition about partial belonging to a set where the works of the artist Queralt Viladevall show ten situations that help us to reflect on the difficulty of being able to classify in a binary way.
    • A family workshop with the aim of working on the concepts "there is more" or "there is less" in contexts of gradual changes. The workshop consists of the creation of films related to these concepts and the construction of a zootrope-type device that will allow them to be viewed.

Both activities are carried out in collaboration with the Mathematics Unit of the University of Girona. For years, one of its main objectives is to bring knowledge of blurred logic closer to society.

Weather permitting, both the exhibition and the workshop will be held outside. No prior reservation is required. If this occurs, the queue will be managed right there.

If you want to book in advance access to the exhibition on the second floor, remember that we have a few places available upon prior reservation in http://tiquets.mmaca.cat. The rest of the places are free to complete the capacity.
