We bring, your centre, the modules of the museum in portable format.

What are we going to do in the workshop?

We bring to your center material in portable format so that students can manipulate and interact with the modules. Most of the material they will manipulate is the same as that found in the museum, but in lighter format. The material is part of mmaca's mathematical suitcases.
The educators will present the material and accompany the students in their discovery, they will be able to clarify and resolve doubts.
The explanations and materials will be adapted to the level/course of each group.
At the end there will be a collective review of what has been worked on.

More information about the activity

Needs of spaces and materials

It will be necessary to have the individual tables of the students grouped of 4 in 4 with the chairs around.
It is necessary to provide the educator with the parking or if it is not possible to download.

Learning objectives

Promoting the development of mathematical thinking skills, in a playful format, is the objective of the activity.
Within the general objective of the development of all the child's abilities in its growth, the main objective of the visit to the portable exhibition is to present to children objects and attractive situations that pose a series of practical problems to solve.
The resolution of these challenges requires their understanding and even abstraction and development of strategies without even realizing. The manipulable material favors that these steps are carried out in an active and sequenced way, being able to reach each one to different levels.
