Thursday, 4th June 2020 at 19:00

This was the third of the international online sessions taking advantage of the lockdown of the pandemic.

Chris Brownell holds a PhD in Mathematics Education, Policy and Practice. He is professor of mathematics and STEM education at Fresno Pacific University

He is co-author of the book Math Recess Playful Learning in an Age of Disruption in conjunction with Sunril Singh.

"Our goal in this book was to combat the idea that mathematics is a static and boring effort, and replace it with the idea that mathematics is made by people who play with ideas, special relationships between things, numbers, shapes and other objects."
